Welcome to our Nile River Jounrey

How to Prepare:

Please give some thought to your desires and intentions for this trip. We will be in truly magic territory during these 10 days, with time for both inner and outer exploration.  It is a potent place for holding a clear image of what you wish to create and manifest in your life, this may be something you are aware of before you arrive or something that emerges during our journey. We will have themes and rituals for each day that will guide us.

LOGISTICS:

Food and Accommodations:

We have an on board chef serving gourmet local foods. Please lets us know if you require vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free options or have any specific dietary restrictions.

Accommodation is in the form of double rooms, with separate or joined beds, if you are coming with a partner or friend you can share a room, otherwise we will take your preference into account.

Location:

Luxor, Egypt.

Obtaining an entry Visa:

Egypt currently gives a 30 day visa on arrival to many different passports. It is recommended to have the correct change of $25USD or $30USD (changes day by day) with you when you disembark to purchase your visa.

Here is a link to check if your passport is eligible:

Getting to Luxor:

Luxor has an international airport. If you are flying into Cairo first we recommend continuing to Luxor by air. Also 4 hours away by taxi is Hurghada airport, on the Red Sea. We can arrange airport or hotel pickup on the 5th if you provide us with the details. If you arriving in Luxor before this date we will do our best to support your arrival and stay.

Boarding the boat:

We are asking everyone to arrive at the boat in Luxor at 11am on Monday 5th December, though you are welcome to arrive anytime after 9am.
There is some flexibility with arrival so let us know.

We will be disembarking in Luxor on 15th December at approximately 2pm.

What to bring with you:

Clothing:
We will spend time sitting on the floor, dancing, moving, breathing, so make sure you have some loose comfortable clothes that you feel good in.

December in Egypt is most likely to be warm to hot days, and cool to cold nights. Loose and light clothing is good for warm days out, and for the evening warmer layers and sturdy sox or slippers, the evening winds can get cold, so something windproof and maybe something to keep the ears warm would good if you love being out on deck at night.

For our temple visits it is required to have appropriate clothing as per the local culture:
Woman please bring non-see-through clothing that covers the shoulders and down past the knees (things that do not shape to much to the body are good) it’s also a good way to keep the sun off your skin. Lightweight shawls are great.
For the Men its much more relaxed, but if you have light fabric long pants and shirts or a dhoti – go for it.

Also comfortable walking shoes, a hat and/or sun protection.

Also please bring:
- a journal/notebook and pen
- any sacred power objects you would like to share the voyage with

- a personal drinking bottle for water (so we can minimise the use of plastic water bottles)

Safety:

Egypt has been known to have occasional trouble in its political and religious fields. Where we are going is known as a safe place to travel and ,as is customary in Egypt at this time, we will be provided security. This entails having professional protection people traveling alongside (not with) us during our visits on land.

Moneys:

Once you pay the initial deposit your place is assured.
The remaining payments are due at the Early Bird Price by 4th of November and full price or special offer tickets are due to be paid by November 22nd.
If you need to cancel your journey with us our refund policy outside of the deposit and minus any transfer fees incurred is; 60 days or more before the start of the event, all funds will be 100% refunded. From 30-60 days before the journey, 75% of payment is refundable, for cancelations between 30-14 days before the journey 50% of payment is refundable and anything inside the two weeks before is no longer refundable.
